Bond Work = Student Learning

Planning for the 2026 Capital Projects Bond work is well underway. One of the many aspects of this work involves surveying the sites where construction will be taking place. Our survey consultants from Tectonic were at Fox Meadow this week, and Crew Chief Anthony Lombardi and Instrument Person Christopher Logan, were invited to explain their profession to 5th graders while conducting the survey. They noted that surveying is, "a great profession that many people know very little about, so it is always rewarding to have the opportunity to introduce students to what we do!"

SHS Student Ambassadors Down Under

Global Opportunities Coordinator Heather Waters and SHS Global Ambassadors Blake Miller, Ally Menzer and Bryn Bass are finishing an incredible week in Australia as attendees of the 2026 Round Square International Conference hosted by Barker College in Sydney, Australia. Our delegates have enjoyed meeting and talking with their peers from around the world, making new friends and learning about each other's countries. Keynote speakers asked our students to look at themselves, their world, and seek to understand, connect and engage. The conference also included service opportunities and cultural performances as these teens discuss the things that connect us and the challenges facing our global society. We look forward to seeing how their shared experiences and inspiration will turn into action!
